Works Well but Primitively Designed; Better Choices Are Out There

Three stars because it works as advertised; no more since it has some shortcomings that can only be accounted for by poor design.Backpack sprayers are definitely the way to go if you need to do much spraying. This sprayer works great but it has some awkward design features that are annoying and make it somewhat difficult to use.For starters, there's no top strap for helping with picking up the sprayer. This means you have to hoist it by one of the side straps, causing the weight of it to be out of balance & hard to get on your back.Then there's the just maddening design of the spray handle attachment. It only will attach to the frame at a 90 degree angle straight out from the sprayer frame. This causes problems in transporting and storing the sprayer.Finally, there are other features, such as a chest or waist strap that would help. The makers of these sprayers should take a good look at actual backpacks for backpackers!Solo apparently offers some improvements over these design limitations but you have to buy the 'deluxe' model to get them. Other sprayers are available now in retail stores that have some advantages over the Solo sprayers. They cost more but you might want to go the extra amount and spare yourself some frustration.

Solo Backback Sprayer Works Well

I baught the sprayer and used it three times so far. Works very well and as advertised. You do have to pump fairly regularly to keep the pressure up, but the pump arm is convenient and works quite efficiently so you are not constantly pumping.

Backpack sprayer..

We live on a large ranch and I have a huge yard.. This sprayer is perfect for me and my needs.. Easy enough for me to carry and effective enough to spray what I need.. Love it.. by the way this is the third one I have, for use with all different sprays.. So I don't mix sprays..
