Great hand pruner; rachet allows you to ease the cutting load on your old hands

I had an older model Gardena Bypass pruner (can't see the model number) that works very well even after many years of usuage except that as one gets older ( I mean the person and not the pruner) you can feel the load on your old hands when you try to tackle the thicker branches.That's why I decided to buy this Ratchet Pruner that allows me to take the thicker branches in smaller bites in a "continuous" way except that you can do it in small bites compared to my standard Gardena Bypass pruner.It has a dual modes that allows you to use it with or without the ratchet mode.Certainly a joy to use especially on the thicker branches.

The Gardenia ratchet pruner is well made, unfortunately it is also heavier than the one I have always used making it too tiring for my old hands to maneuver. I would like to return it and have been searching for the receipt
