Excellent Quality, Fast Shipping
By C. McLemore
This is not your typical cheep ground cover that your local home improvement stores sell. The cloth is thick and weeds have no chance of coming through. I would highly recommend this product to everyone. Shipment arrived within one week from purchase.

Nice heavy fabric
By Nick
*UPDATE*By the end of the season some weeds had managed to grow through the fabric (germinate on top and send roots down through the fabric). Pulling out the weeds did not result in any tears/rips unlike the experience I had with the less costly fabric where pulling out weeds occassionally caused tears. I was cautious with chemical weed-block because of a previous experience where it damaged several of my plantings, and will likely try again with chemical weed-block in smaller quantities to try and avoid some of the weed germination next season.*END UPDATE*I bought the first roll of this after reading the reviews to replace some fabric. I bought the second roll after seeing the thickness and (apparent) durability of the first. I have about 1100-1200 sq ft that I'm going to cover to start with and I expect to need very close to all of two rolls.I had previously been using bark mulch and bought this fabric to go under new rubber mulch. I had to replace the big box fabric primarily for two reasons 1) fabric had ripped in places as a result of removing a rosebush that had gone completely wild and 2) many weeds had started growing from the top side of the fabric through the fabric into the ground due to decomposing bark mulch. I am not as negative about the big box fabric as some other reviewers. If I had replaced my bark mulch every year, and not allowed the rose bush to run amok I think it would have held up well. The main complaint I have for the big box fabric is how quickly it degrades when exposed to any direct sun. I doubt I'll remember to update this review in 5 years with info about how well it held up. Pulling the weeds out of the old fabric that had been exposed to the elements led to more and more rips, and rendered the fabric ineffective.I upgraded to the Dewitt fabric because with rubber mulch I expect the mulch (and the fabric) to last many more years. The fabric is reminiscent of lawn chair webbing. It takes a good pair of shears to cut, and a nice sharp point to poke a hole in order to put in a fabric stake (I used plastic ones with a large round head). It is a bit narrower than the fabric it replaces, so with the recommended overlap you get rather less coverage than the 750 sq ft you would calculate based just on the dimensions of the roll (about 12-14% less). It is durable, and at no point have I so far poked through the fabric unintentionally, either by walking on it, or dropping tools etc on it, while installing. If I were not installing rubber mulch, and not expecting a fabric to last 10 years, I may still have opted for the much less expensive fabric, and replaced it more frequently. I give this 4 stars primarily based on value. I would guess this does not save money overall, but does reduce the amount of work (i.e. how frequently it gets replaced). If saving time & better durability is more important than saving money, I'd recommend this fabric.

Tough Durable and Good
By Bob Ambal
I read reviews about this product and ordered two rolls even though these were costly. The lawn professional who came to install this fabric was amazed at it's quality. He noted down the name of this product. Even when it was being installed, it was obvious that no weed is going to have the strength to pop out through this thick fabric. It has been 1 year, and there is ZERO weeds in the area where this fabric is installed. This fabric looks and feels and is thicker and better than those fabrics which are guaranteed to work for 3 years. Highly recommended for those who want to not just control weeds, but completely eliminate weeds.
