Monostand Problem

If this is really 100% Baron Kentucky bluegrass as the description claims, I would advise caution. You really don't want just one cultivar in your lawn, because you lose genetic diversity, which means that one bad disease will wipe out the whole lawn. This is a great price for 50 pounds, and Baron is a good KBG cultivar, but you will want to buy other varieties of KBG, and possibly also a mixture of tall fescue and KBG. It's like an insurance policy against disease, drought, or other nasty things that cam happen to a lawn.
