Felco Straight Edge Saw

I have been using a small bow saw for trail maintenance work. Although relatively light, the bow saw is awkward to carry in the woods. One either needs a blade sheath to carry in a day pack or simply carry it in your hand.I purchased the Felco saw upon recommendation from a professional user. Yes, the saw does cut well (so far) and has a stiffer blade that resists bending and binding. But an unexpected feature that I have appreciated is the scabbard and belt -loop. The saw is easy to carry, mush easier to access and lighter than my old bow saw. If you are more than an occasional user, this saw is worth the extra money.

very nice saw and carry case. well made, light and cuts w ease. I use it at home as well as camping. blade does have some flex to it near base. I expect it to last a long time

The best garden saw ever

Felco tools are pricey but well worth the cost. I expect this very sharp saw to last many years. I also own hand pruners, loppers and a folding saw made by Felco. You won't be sorry if you treat yourself to these extremely well made tools. I have been a gardener for over 60 years and recommend these tools to everyone.
