Great! Easy to set up, convenient, sturdy
By niki dupree
I hesitated to order this at first as I have been disappointed by other hose carts. But I am glad I did decide to try one more time! Very easy to set up, convenient to use right out of the box. Comes with the extra hose and quick-connect coupling to easily connect to any hose bib, as well as a nozzle with an additional coupling. And best of all: none of the couplings leak at all (unlike so many others...)And a pretty good value too, considering in addition to all the connectors and couplings it comes with a nice 65ft garden hose.

Perfect Hose for My Needs
By Diane
I ordered this hose and cart from Amazon in early May when our old heavy-duty cart broke. When it arrived, I was skeptical that its light weight and thin hose would not work, but I was delighted after using it the first time. I was so tired of lugging around heavy hoses, tired of reeling in heavy hoses. My husband left the heavy hose out in the yard half the time because even he didn't want to reel it in. Now, we pull this one across the yard, use it and wind it up in a jiffy. I even pull the light-weight hose up the stairs to clean off the stairs and upper decks. I hated dragging the old heavy hose up the stairs. The only issue we've had with the new hose and cart in the nearly 3 months was the connector that came loose where the hose attaches to the cart. That happened because I left the water spigot on high, closed the hose nozzle, and then rolled up the hose under pressure. The pressure blew the connector off of the cart. It turned out to be no big deal. I shut off the water, unrolled the hose, and reconnected it. I rerolled the hose and haven't had the problem since.

Built for light duty...
By Dpak Nair
It seemed like a bargain to me at 85$ with 20m of 1/2 inch Gardena hose with connectors, nozzle and all.Its a good quality hose reel made of tough plastic and doesn't leak at the connection points. Thanks to the Gardena system connectors. The hose reel stays put when you pull out the 1/2 inch classic Gardena hose(unless you pull sideways) by virtue of its design. But, winding the hose back to the reel was a bit difficult as the hose reel tend to get unsettled due to its light weight and i had to stabilize it with my left foot. The flow was not great with the supplied hose.Hence i upgraded to Gardena 5/8 inch Heavy duty hose. The hose reel barely managed to accommodate 100ft of 5/8in hose. And it became a bit more hard to wind the water filled hose back in. The hose cart tends to get a little unstable if the entire length of hose is out, because of its light weight and i had to hold it down with my left foot during initial winding.I found a work around for this problem.Just anchored the steel leg of the cart to the ground with two heavy steel clamps. Now it stays super-stable. But,no more mobility.kind of defeats the purpose of a hose cart. The weight of a water filled 100ft 5/8inch hose is a bit too much for this hose cart to handle.I works ok with the supplied hose . Also, upgrading the 1/2 inch leader hose to 5/8 might improve the flow a bit.
