Ecofix Does the Job

I have used Ecofix along with PondCare's Algaefix in my 2000 gallon pond for about 7-8 years. My setup has a skimmer, waterfall, pump, and bottom drain to keep water flowing. These are the best products (and the best priced) that I have found to keep my pond clear and free of algae. I use both products weekly with filter cleanings. When draining the pond for a thorough cleaning, there may be cloudiness from algae bloom for a few weeks if it happens to be algae-bloom season, but with patience your pond will return to its clear state again. Neither Ecofix or Algaefix cause any problems for plants or koi.

Ecofix

I had previously bought the algae fix from the same company, but because of reading the review about this product thought to try it. My pond turned dark and murky within 2 weeks and never went back to the clarity it had with the original product. I was especially disappointed because I had just drained and cleaned the pond prior to this. I will be going back to the other product. Unfortunately, I had bought 2 gallons.

I can see a major increase in pond clarity within hours of the application and no harm to plants I have in the pond.
