Excellent product

I had no idea there was anything that could be done to improve such an ancient, mundane product as an oscillating sprinkler. I was wrong. This unit allows one to control spray pattern width and distance right at the sprinkler while it is in operation. There is no need to rush back and forth from hose bibb to sprinkler in an attempt to regulate distance through restricting water flow. The unit has a nifty adjustment valve right on it. All moving parts are cowled by the oscillating drum, thus preventing the mechanism from being jammed by leaves, twigs or other debris. Lastly, the included quick release connection kit is literally a snap to use. If you are in the market for an oscillating sprinkler this is the one to get. I've had mine a year now and it remains trouble-free.

When my old sprinkler died on me late last fall,I went to lowe's and purchased a Gilmour model 7900PMGF. This spring when the need arose, I hooked up the sprinkler and after about 15 minutes it traveled to the end of an ocillation and refused to reverse direction. I worked and worked and could never get it to work properly. I carried it back to Lowe's they would not replace it or refund my money. I then tried two other models from Gilmour both would not work, I did get refunds. THEN I went to amazon and ordered a Gradena 34200. Wordes cannot describe the performance of this sprinkler. It's faster and much better coverage pattern, the quick disconnect when used with a ball valve cutoff is quite useful. If I could give ten stars I would. Simply it is one great sprinkler.

This is an outstanding sprinkler. I owned one for 30 years without an issue. After it stopped sweeping, I looked at a number of metal sweeping ones. Each had issues due to the use of metal. I purchased this Gardena instead. It is the best designed product that continues to work. I should get another 30 years with this one.
