Someone bought a pair of these for me a number of years back and I have found them to be one of the best tools I have owned. I have used them for professional level trimming on a major scale and they are still going strong. The rubber bumper stops have finally given out and I am going to be replacing them (the bumpers) and plan on using them for years to come. The handles are long enough for leverage to cut through fairly large branches with relative ease. They are made of hard enough metal to keep a good cutting edge. Highly recommended.
