Okay but problems

Bought this a week ago, tried to use it for a couple of hard-to-reach shrubs. Discovered immediately that it will not cut anything over about 3/8 inch, and only if it's on the soft side. The head swivels a bit to easy which makes it hard to guide at full extension. The clasp on the bottom annoyingly kept locking on me after making a cut. The only thing positive I can say about it is that it does allow you to reach a fair distance. Probably good for roses are something with pretty small stems.

Long reach pruner

I'm always pleased with how fast I receive items from Amazon. Always much sooner than the estimated 'ship date'. So, I was excited when I got my new pruner in time for Rose pruning season. I am a Horticulturist maintaining large private gardens. For the price this pruner is quite good. Not the sharpest when I received it, but a quick sharpening with a diamond file and it was ready to go. I removed the 'cut and hold' piece and it works much better without it. All in all a good value for the money.

Cut and hold long reach pruners

The BGT Long Reach cut and hold pruners were an excellent choice for a set of pruners that will hold a branch after it has been cut so it does not strike you or somebody else. This pruner also extends.Amazon.com was the only location that I located these pruners and is an asset trimming hedges or trees.I would highly recommend these pruners.
